Season 1: Some of Our Favourite Moments Canada's Number One Business-Comedy Podcast looks back at some of our favourite moments from Season 1. We've sat through an entire season of questionable pitches, unnecessary inventions, and business ideas that should never have made it past the group chat. Now we've collected some of our favourites in one episode. From rating grocery-store salsa and monetizing prayer to questionable bathroom innovations, animal talent agencies, and other solutions to problems nobody has, it's a collection of entrepreneurial nonsense. Join Shubh Sidhu, Philippe Burns, and some of our favourite guests as we revisit the pitches, arguments, and moments that made our first season memorable. No new pitches. No due diligence. Absolutely no lessons learned. Brought to you in part by our friends at the New Network.

Our first ever guest on YBIOTL was Sebastian Hiscock, founder of SalsaScore. Incredibly, SalsaScore is the second most impressive thing Seb has founded. This week, we welcome Sebastian's Co-Founder at Purelend Technologies, Lucas Scheer. After a highly successful career as one of Calgary's top executive scale-up operators, Lucas, along with Seb and Wayne, started what this podcast thinks is one of Canada's most interesting AI native startups. Bootstrapped, profitable and growing exponentially. Which means Lucas is a serious entrepreneur. And he arrives to Episode 28 of Canada's Number One Business-Comedy Podcast with several unserious ideas. His idea, CoutureLend, receives the coveted perfect 75 score from both Pip and Shubh. It's brilliant. Listen, laugh and love...like no one is watching...or something. Presented in part by the New Network and Tech Thursday.
